HISTORIC WAGON RIDES ARE BACK!!!
The wagon rides took a break last year but are back in full force! When you just can’t walk another step, it is time to enjoy a delightful ride on one of the Historic Wagon Ride tours.
This 30 minute ride starts behind the City Hall, located east of Highway 9 just half block of Front Street.
The tour includes seeing beautiful gardens, old buildings, and quaint homes from the 18022's and a trip around Blue Eagle Lake.
A guide will give you background information of each area and the history of the town. It is a wonderful way to find out how Potato Days has developed through the years and how the town has grown to the size it is today. A souvenir brochure is given so one can follow along as the tour progresses.
The tours are on Friday from 4:00-8:00 p.m. and again on Saturday from 11:30-3:30 p.m.
There is a $2.00 non-refundable charge to help pay the expenses of the horses and drivers.
Boarding times for the wagon rides are on the hour and half hour.
