Returning again is the Barnesville Fireman's Demolition Derby. The cars will begin to smash and crash at 7 p.m. on Friday of the festival at the Clay County Fairgrounds, located five blocks east of downtown Barnesville.

Demolition derbys are not new to Barnesville. The sounds of cars banging and crunching encourage the crowd to cheer louder and have been a crowd pleaser for years.
