Continuing as part of the Potato Days Festival celebration and targeting the sports minded, the 10K/5K Run/Walk is set for Saturday morning at 8:00 a.m. The course winds around scenic Blue Eagle Lake and continues on country roads and back again. This year's event is sponsored by the Barnesville Fitness Center. Bring the whole family for some good exercise, fellowship and fun!

The entry fee is $20 per person if pre-registered prior to August 21, 2009. Any registrations received after August 21st will need to pay $25.00. No registrations will be accepted 30 minutes prior to the race. Registration for the run will be held at the Lions picnic shelter at Blue Eagle Lake located on the corner of 5th Avenue NE and 8th Street NE from 7:00 - 7:30 a.m. on Saturday.

PRIZES
Ribbons will be awarded to the top three finishers in the divisions of both the 10K and 5K runs, Medals will be awarded to the top three overall male and top three overall female finishers in both the 10K and 5K runs.
