Card players are invited to participate in the whist and pinochle tournaments.

The Whist Tournament will be held Friday during the festival at the VFW Club. The tournament runs from 1 – 4 p.m. The deadline for signing up and paying the $1 fee is 12:30 pm. Prizes are awarded for high, low, and booby prize.

Fees paid by participants determine prizes. Partners are determined by numbers on tally cards that are distributed at the time of play. Coffee and cookies are served and each player receives a “potato prize bag” and potato chips.

The Pinochle Tournament is on Saturday of the festival at the American Legion. Participants must be registered by 9:00 a.m. and pay the $5 entry fee. Prizes are paid back from the registration fees.
