The Potato Cook-Off being with one great Potato.


The popular Potato Cook-Off is a festival favorite for contestants and "spec-taters" alike!  The 2018 category will be BREAKFAST and potato must be the main ingredient!  This category is sure to bring out some secret family recipes!  Prepared recipes will compete for "bragging rights" and some great prizes.


The audience has a chance to taste the wonderful entries and place their vote for the coveted "People's Choice Award".  Recipes from prior years are featured in the Potato Days Souvenir Recipe book and packets which can be purchased during the Festival or on our Merchandise Page.


The Cook-Off will be held at Hildebrand Hall on Friday from 3:30-4:30. Be ready with your entry by at least 3:10 at Hildebrand Hall  


PRIZES

13 & Older      $50 1st Place, $25 2nd Place in Barnesville Bucks

12 & Younger  $25 1ST Place, $15 2nd Place in Barnesville Bucks

​CONTEST RULES
The Potato Cook-Off is open to everyone – ALL AGES – entries limited to one per person.  Recipe main ingredient must be white potatoes.  Then bring your prepared recipe to Hildebrand Hall by 3:10 PM on Friday for the judging.  Make a big batch to share and taste… go for the People’s Choice Award!
