New Events planned for Potato Days

Two new events are being added to the schedule for the Potato Days Festival – a Paintball Tournament and helicopter rides.

The Paintball Tournament will be held at Blue Eagle Park, near the softball diamonds, on Friday, August 24 beginning at 1 p.m.

This is a Rookie Class Speedball Tournament for 13 year olds and older with less than 1 year experience. It is a 3-man team tournament.

Registration fee is $85/team – paint prices vary.

This is a good spectator sport and one probably most people aren’t aware of or at least haven’t had the opportunity to observe.

There will be helicopter rides available during the festival. More information will be coming on place and times or one can always check out the information booth during the festival.

There is something for everyone at the Potato Days Festival plus a really good food court to tempt anyone’s taste buds.
