The
popular Potato Cook-Off is a festival favorite for contestants
and “spec-taters” alike! The 2008 category is Potato
Dumplings. This category is sure to bring out some secret family
recipes! Prepared recipes will compete for “bragging rights” and
some great prizes. The audience has a chance to taste the wonderful
entries and place their vote for the coveted “People’s
Choice Award.” Recipes from prior years are featured in the
Potato Days Souvenir Recipe Packet which can be purchased during
the festival or on the website. The Cook-Off will be held on Friday,
August 22, 2008, at 5 PM in air-conditioned Hildebrand Hall, next
to Assumption Catholic Church.
