Once again this year the Assumption Youth Chocolate Festival will be held as part of the Barnesville Potato Days Festival. The festival runs from 2:00 to 4:00 pm on Saturday and will be held in air conditioned Hildebrand Hall, adjacent to Assumption Catholic Church at 307 Front Street North.

The smorgasbord of chocolate delicacies includes (but is not limited to), cookies, candies, pies and cakes. An ice cream stand of assorted chocolate cones and brownie sundaes should satisfy the cravings of any die-hard chocoholic.

Proceeds from the Chocolate Festival will be used to send youth from Assumption Parish to the National Catholic Youth Conference and for other youth activities.
